Read our latest news at Brightmont Academy! We are celebrating with our newest Brightmont graduate and made some campus improvements to enhance student learning. We also have social activities planned to increase engagement while continuing to maintain health and safety standards.

Student Highlight

Congratulations to Chris Z. for graduating from Brightmont! Chris took classes at our Birmingham campus. This is a very momentous occasion for Chris who really pulled through in the final stretch to complete all his graduation requirements on September 3rd! What's next for Chris? The sky is the limit!

Student Success

The grandmother of student Mya shared some inspiring words about her granddaughter's experience at Brightmont. If you would like to hear from a Brightmont parent or guardian about their experience at Brightmont, please contact us.

Campus Improvements

The on-campus science lab at our Scottsdale campus has opened. Students attending sessions on the campus will now have the option to complete regular science labs with their teacher (known as "wet labs"). Gloves and masks are required while in the lab area.

The increased enrollment at our Deer Valley campus has prompted us to convert rooms into new classrooms.

The Chandler campus has recently been repainted. Both of the buildings are now full of Brightmont colors.

Club Updates

We are starting film club at our Broomfield campus.

Holiday Celebrations

We are having Apple Cider and Donuts Day on October 13th at our Birmingham campus. Students will be provided with a special fall treat!

Ghosts and ghouls, it's nearly Halloween! We are hosting Halloween parties at some of our campuses on Wednesday, October 28th. Teachers and students are invited to attend school in their costumes.

Health and Safety Guidelines

Per campus safety guidelines, students need to be healthy to come to campus. As an extra precaution, temperatures are being taken at the entrance of the school of anyone wishing to come onto the campus. Our goal is to be as proactive as possible to keep students safe before flu season begins. If students need to stay home on a scheduled class day, they can request sessions via Google Meet instead. Teachers coordinate with the student to start the Google Meet remote session.

ESA News

Brightmont accepts ESA tuition funding at our Arizona campuses. Students who use ESA in Arizona are now switching to Class Wallet; a new invoice system. ESA is providing guidance on how to use Class Wallet. Parents can upload their invoices from Brightmont directly into Class Wallet.

Career Planning

We're partnering with Elite Community Services so after Brightmont our students have access to vocational classes.

Advanced Placement Exams

It's the time of the year when high school students hoping to take an AP exam in the Spring should register for testing. Once registered, students will receive a "join code" from their testing site.

  • Students taking AP exams this school year should locate a testing site now and begin the registration process. If students wait too long, they might not find a nearby site.
  • Students need to identify their Brightmont campus when they create their College Board account, and use their campus' CEEB code when registering for the exam.

ACT® and SAT® Test and Registration Dates

Brightmont Academy offers Test Prep services. Click here to learn more about preparing for your test.

Parents need to register their student for the ACT and SAT tests on the ACT and SAT websites.

ACT Test Dates

Check the ACT website for registration informationFAQs, and important updates.

SAT Test Dates

Public health restrictions and high demand will result in limited seating capacity for students in certain areas. Check the SAT® website for more information.

Upcoming Holidays

We are closed November 11 in observance of Veteran's Day.
