Brightmont Academy, One-to-One Private Education
School Update, COVID-19 Response
During school closures, Brightmont Academy students are receiving one-to-one online instruction for all our programs including full-time, courses for credit, tutoring, and skill-building. Our experienced teachers are using an online curriculum and platform to ensure students continue learning during the coronavirus pandemic.
We are prepared to support new families who need academic support. Don't let your child fall behind during school closures. We recommend our one-to-one online tutoring which helps students maximize learning gains and maintain a learning routine in an uncertain time.
We are waiving the $200 Standard Enrollment Fee for new families who enroll between March 18, 2020-April 30, 2020. This applies to all our programs.1:1 Online Tutoring
Located just south of the Happy Valley Towne Center, Brightmont Academy offers Deer Valley, North Phoenix, Glendale, Surprise, Peoria, Anthem, and surrounding communities one-to-one instruction that works. Our unique educational approach is based on 20 years of experience helping students in grades 6-12 succeed academically. At Brightmont Academy, we identify and support the needs of each student, whether they struggle with depression and/or anxiety, learning disabilities, health issues or other special needs.
Brightmont’s educational model is mastery-based, empowering students to actively engage in their studies at their own pace while being challenged and supported throughout the learning process. We offer a range of programs throughout the year including full-time school, individual courses, tutoring, skill-building programs, and summer school. We offer open enrollment so you can start right away.
We support students with a wide range of learning challenges including those with Empowerment Scholarship Accounts(ESA). In addition to academic instruction, the Deer Valley campus staff are skilled at providing practical studies for life and work applications, and can assist students with all transitional services. Executive function strategies and instruction are embedded into academic lessons and reinforced daily. For example, this campus has adopted school-wide use of planners, just one of the purposeful applications that includes family and school partnership and connects our one-to-one instruction to the student's home life.

A year ago Josh was completely quiet about his school during dinner…..This year, at family dinners he joins the conversation and talks about his day and goals just like we do ours - right in turn and speaks as seriously as those of us spoke of our duties at our jobs. He really treats school like a job and is so proud of it. It really has changed his life, and I think the trajectory of where he goes beyond Brightmont as well.Paul M., Deer Valley parent
What do I like about Brightmont...For starters the teachers are so nice and always cheerful. They also even help me out if I don't understand something or know something. Even if it is their job to teach us students, they all teach different ways with each student for every subject. Even the students here are nice. The school even spends their own money to buy snacks for everyone in the school and that alone is awesome! That is what I like about Brightmont.
