Meet Aisha Walker
Director | VP of School Development
Aisha began working as an educator more than twenty years ago. Having completed her undergraduate degree, she began her career at Lindamood-Bell Learning Processes®, a globally recognized organization whose founders authored programs to remediate weaknesses in language processing, reading, comprehension, and math. While completing her Master's Degree she also spent time as an educator at The Lionheart School in Alpharetta. After several years in the classroom, Aisha returned to Lindamood-Bell and stepped into the roles of Executive Center Director, Regional Director, and Associate Director of Learning Centers. During her tenure, she oversaw the program implementation and expansion of locations in multiple sites all over the world, while also training and coaching clinicians, consultants, and Center Directors. Having worked with students one to one, she was also able to use her extensive knowledge and understanding of these processes to ensure effective program implementation, and individualize consulting with parents, teachers, and professionals.
Aisha's experiences over the last twenty-plus years have carried her from her hometown of Atlanta to Tennessee, California, Texas, and more. She has learned that her love for teaching and coaching extends beyond just the students that she has taught, but to their entire team. It is this love that ignites her passion for Brightmont Academy and the one-to-one learning model available to families seeking solutions for their children.
