Our Mission and History
At Brightmont Academy, our mission is to help students reach their full academic, emotional, and social potential through one-to-one instruction that prepares them for college and career.
Brightmont Academy was founded in 1999, and since then, we’ve grown to offer one-to-one instruction across 25 campuses in Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, North Carolina, and Washington. Every day for over 26 years, we have seen the positive results of this approach, and we are proud to have helped more than 4,000 students find their paths to becoming more confident and successful learners.

Brightmont is changing the way students learn to help them thrive. While traditional schools teach all students the same content at the same pace, research shows that personalized instruction bolsters students’ academic achievements and can reduce anxiety.
At Brightmont, every classroom has one teacher, one student. This education model allows us to meet your kids where they are and adjust to their unique learning needs, personal preferences, and schedule.
