Brightmont Academy, One-to-One Private Education
School Update, COVID-19 Response
Our Birmingham campus has re-opened and we have new safety guidelines in place.
We encourage new families to contact us about one-to-one instruction for your student. We are waiving the $200 Standard Enrollment Fee for new families who enroll between March 18, 2020-June 30, 2020. This applies to all our programs.
Take advantage of the one-to-one instruction that works. Our unique educational approach is based on 20 years of experience helping students in grades 6-12 succeed academically. At Brightmont Academy, we identify and support the needs of each student, whether they struggle with depression and/or anxiety, learning disabilities, health issues or other special needs.
Brightmont’s educational model is mastery-based, empowering students to actively engage in their studies at their own pace while being challenged and supported throughout the learning process. We offer a range of programs throughout the year including full-time school, individual courses, tutoring, skill-building programs, and summer school. We offer open enrollment so you can start right away.
At Brightmont Academy we get to know students and recognize their talents. As students achieve progress, they gain the self-confidence necessary to support lifelong learning and success. Contact us to learn more about creating a customized learning plan for your child’s unique needs.
A Positive, Customized Education
97% of students say Brightmont teachers make learning interesting and adjust instruction to their needs.
- In December, we are teaming up with Homefront Hugs USA to donate items for care packages to send to our troops overseas. On campus, we are making thank you cards during lunch to add to the packages.
- Students Cam, Hussein, and Brian are conducting an experiment in Ms. Miller's science class to see if music has any affect on the growth of plants.
- We have a new lunchtime tournament for all Giant Jenga lovers! We had so much fun with our first-ever tournament bracket, that we are making this a regular activity for students and staff.
- In November, we warmed up with a hot cocoa bar.
- In October, we enjoyed some delicious cider and donuts. For Halloween we dressed up in creative costumes and had an M & M guessing game.
The value of Brightmont Academy is our son is educated one on one with his teachers. He is learning at a faster pace and he enjoys going to school...which is a miracle!
