At Brightmont Academy, we identify and support the needs of each student, whether they struggle with depression and/or anxiety, learning disabilities, health issues or other special needs.
Brightmont’s educational model is mastery-based, empowering students to actively engage in their studies at their own pace while being challenged and supported throughout the learning process. We offer a range of programs throughout the year including full-time school, individual courses, tutoring, and skill-building programs. We offer open enrollment so you can start right away.

Meet Aileen Sabbatani
Sammamish Campus Director
In her experience as a lead teacher and now Campus Director at Brightmont Academy, Aileen has seen how students thrive with one-to-one instruction. Aileen was instrumental as a lead teacher at Brightmont Academy – Redmond for two years, where she built and implemented education plans for individual student goals and needs. As Campus Director in Sammamish, she continues to be committed to offering positive feedback, motivation, coaching and additional support to create a safe place for learning and achieve high academic outcomes for each student.
With 12 years of experience working in the school environment, Aileen has guided students along their path to academic success. She understands the variety of instructional methods and strategies that can elevate student confidence, interest and understanding of academic subjects.
Aileen earned a bachelor’s degree in English, graduating Magna cum Laude from California State University, Hayward. She holds a Single Subject Teaching Credential in English and a CLAD Certificate from California State University, Hayward. She is certified in Washington as a teacher, highly qualified for ELA.
In her free time, Aileen serves as the PTSA Awards and Recognition Chair for Eastlake High School. She is committed to developing relationships among parents, students and educators within the community.

Meet Tony Beals

Tony Beals will work with you and your child to design the most effective, personalized instructional plan and choose experienced teachers who best fit your child's academic needs and learning style.
Tony has extensive experience as both a parent and an educator working with students from an array of backgrounds including those with anxiety, depression, ASD, ADHD, and ODD. He been in the education industry for over 25 years and has been involved as a teacher, consultant, manager, and leader. He joined us in 2013 after a 13-year career as the Director of Operations for another education organization.
“I am excited to bring my background in education and campus operations, as well as my passion for individualized teaching to ensure a quality education environment for all students,” Tony says. “I believe every student has a unique learning code (kind of like a locker combination) that no matter what their background, if unlocked, will provide an opportunity to learn effectively.’
