As an accredited private school, our curriculum includes math, language arts, science, social studies, foreign language, and electives for 1st through 12th grade. For high schoolers, we offer both Advanced Placement® and Honors courses.


When students complete course requirements, they earn a high school diploma from Brightmont Academy, which is recognized by colleges and universities. Our students receive acceptances from colleges and universities across the country; check out the prestigious colleges our students have attended.

Scholarships

The North Carolina State Education Assistance Authority (SEAA) offers two scholarships to help Raleigh families access academic opportunities:



  1. The Opportunity Scholarship offers awards ranging from approximately $3,000 to $7,000 to be put toward private school tuition, and all K–12 North Carolina students are eligible. 
  2. The Education Student Accounts (ESA+) scholarship offers awards starting at $9,000 per year to students with disabilities. 


Brightmont Academy is happy to provide complimentary application assistance for either award.

Meet Alesia Stevenson

Raleigh Campus Director

Alesia Stevenson brings extensive experience in education, business, leadership, and community engagement to her role as Campus Director at Brightmont Academy’s Raleigh campus.


Her career has spanned roles in both education and organizational leadership, where she has focused on developing teams, expanding access to resources, and fostering supportive environments for student growth. As both an educator and a parent, Alesia has seen firsthand the life-changing impact of individualized instruction and the right educational setting, giving her a personal connection to Brightmont’s mission and model.


At Brightmont, Alesia is excited to establish the Raleigh campus as a trusted resource for families seeking an alternative to the traditional classroom setting. She looks forward to building a vibrant school community where students are empowered to achieve academic progress, grow their confidence, and improve their resilience.

Aisha Walker

Meet Aisha Walker

Director | VP of School Development

Aisha began working as an educator over twenty years ago. After her undergraduate degree, she started her career at Lindamood-Bell Learning Processes, a globally recognized education organization that creates programs to address weaknesses in language processing, reading, comprehension, and math. 


While earning her master's degree, she also worked at The Lionheart School. After several years in the classroom, Aisha returned to Lindamood-Bell as an executive center director, regional director, and associate director of learning centers. Having worked with students one-on-one, she used her extensive knowledge to implement programs and tailor consulting to parents, teachers, and professionals’ unique needs.


Aisha has learned that her love for teaching and coaching extends to both the students she has taught and to their entire academic team. This love ignites her passion for Brightmont Academy and the one-to-one learning model available to families seeking solutions for their children.
