Enhanced Well-Being at Brightmont
83% of full-time students boost their confidence after transferring to Brightmont.
I feel like all the teachers my daughter currently has truly care about her. I like their flexibility when necessary.
We had a celebration at lunch for Diwali, the Hindu festival of lights that marks the beginning of the fiscal year in India. Three of our teachers whose families are from India talked with the kids at lunch about the history and meaning of the holiday, as well as shared traditional holiday treats. They also wore traditional clothing.
The teachers competed in a Halloween decorating contest by subject area. Their decorations had to somehow incorporate their subject area(s). For instance, the foreign language teachers put together a display educating students about the traditions of the Day of the Dead and All Saints' Day. The English/Social Studies teachers made a display incorporating classic, spooky characters such as Frankenstein's monster and Edgar Allen Poe's raven. Students voted on Halloween for the winning hallway!
Students used their creative juices to give back to the community this past month by making Halloween greeting cards for Phoenix Children's Hospital.
We welcome students who are passionate about athletics. At Brightmont Academy - Scottsdale, student athletes can overcome the challenges of balancing schoolwork, practices, conditioning and competitions.
