Brightmont Academy Provides Personalized Support for Special Education Students

Boca Raton, FL — In honor of Special Education Day, Brightmont Academy recognizes the importance of providing tailored educational support to students with special needs. Many of these students face challenges in traditional public schools due to limited flexibility in meeting their unique learning requirements. A recent study shows that 80% to 85% of children who qualify for special education can achieve the same results as their neurotypical peers if given the right instruction and accommodations.

Cohen shared success stories demonstrating this model's effectiveness in supporting special education students. “Fortunately, I have several success stories about children at our campus that fit under that special education classification. A couple of them began at Brightmont as nonreaders, and now we can proudly say that they are decoding simple text and increasing their sight vocabulary. I have even received feedback from the speech therapist who has worked with the students for years, saying that she cannot believe the progress she has seen since they started with us in the summer!”
