Private School Specializing in One-to-One Instruction for 1st-12th Grade Students

Atlanta, GA  – Brightmont Academy, a one-to-one school, will open a new campus in Atlanta, Georgia. Offering courses and tutoring for grades 1-12, Atlanta is the second location in Georgia and brings the number of locations nationwide to 20.  They will celebrate with a grand opening on November 14, 2024.  Alpharetta, Georgia is the other location in the state.

Brightmont Academy is a nationally accredited private school that offers a flexible, customized learning alternative to traditional schools. One experienced teacher works with one student throughout every learning session. Parents have three enrollment options. Students can attend full time and earn a diploma issued by Brightmont Academy, take courses to earn credit, or receive intensive tutoring support. New students can enroll at any time with open enrollment all throughout the school year. Brightmont Academy is open year round and offers customized scheduling, allowing students the flexibility to balance priorities.

“We are so excited to be opening a second location in my home state of Georgia.  Brightmont is unique in this area because it is all one-to-one teaching and that allows students to get the most out of their education.” said Aisha Walker, Vice President of School Development at Brightmont Academy. This proven model effectively serves students who have learning difficulties, those who want to accelerate their studies, and those whose needs aren’t met in traditional schools. Brightmont's safe learning environment and supportive teachers are integral to the emotional well-being of all students, including those with anxiety and/or depression or those who have been bullied. “We as an organization pride ourselves with meeting the students where they are at. Being able to bring another location to our state is going to provide more options to Georgia parents who find their child isn’t being served by a traditional educational environment,” said Walker.

Brightmont Academy’s new location is at 1161 Concord Rd SE in Smyrna and is currently accepting enrollments.  Families and professionals are invited to attend a grand opening event on November 14th, 2024 between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM. The event includes a tour of the campus and a meeting with Campus Director to learn more about the value of one-to-one instruction. Ribbon Cutting is at 3 p.m. with the Chamber of Commerce.
