Private School Specializing in Customized Learning for 1st-12th Grade Students

National – As of most recent statistics, there are 128,961 public and private K-12th grade schools in the United States. This week marks the celebration of these schools with American Education Week, acknowledging the significance of education and appreciating the efforts of teachers, school personnel, and the entire educational community.

Brightmont Academy is proud to celebrate American Education Week in our locations throughout the country. A nationally accredited private school, Brightmont offers a flexible, customized learning alternative to traditional schools. “Flexibility is one of our main driving factors. We’re able to quickly adjust for each individual child to best serve them because of our one student to one teacher model,” said Karen Buckner, CEO of Brightmont Academy.

Parents have three enrollment options. Students can attend full time and earn a diploma issued by Brightmont Academy, take courses to earn credit, or receive intensive tutoring support. New students can enroll at any time with open enrollment all throughout the school year. Brightmont Academy is open year-round and offers customized scheduling, allowing students the flexibility to balance priorities.

This proven model effectively serves students who have learning difficulties, those who want to accelerate their studies, and those whose needs aren’t met in traditional schools. Brightmont's safe learning environment and supportive teachers are integral to the emotional well-being of all students, including those with anxiety and/or depression or those who have been bullied. Deuree Noel, Campus Director in Chandler, Arizona explains, “Sometimes a district doesn't have the resources to be able to support what a family needs for their student. Brightmont steps in and gets them to graduation just like their peers, because now they're in an environment that’s right for them”.

At the center of Brightmont Academy’s personalized learning approach is one-to-one instruction. To foster continual progress, each teaching moment is optimized to accommodate a student’s needs. Sarah Horton, Campus Director in Scottsdale, Arizona adds, “I love seeing the kids succeed. This is a place where there's so much more we can do to meet a kid's needs.”

Brightmont Academy is located in eight states and is currently accepting enrollments.

Brightmont Academy is an accredited private school that provides one-to-one instruction. One experienced teacher works with one student throughout every learning session. Customized full-time programs and individual courses are offered for grades 1-12. Students can also receive individualized tutoring for all 1-12 subjects, study skills, and test prep. Brightmont Academy has served thousands of students since 1999, and has 16 campuses in Arizona, Colorado, Georgia, Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, and Washington.
