Campus Updates

We have resumed in-person instruction at our campuses. Students and staff are definitely enjoying in-person sessions again, and seeing the campus alive with activity has been a refreshing sense of "normal"!

We have several new safety guidelines in place to ensure the safety and well-being of our students and Brightmont team.

Everyone on campus wears a mask.

Directional arrows help keep traffic moving and encourages physical distancing.

The staff are disinfecting the classrooms and the school areas frequently including surfaces, chairs and writing utensils. Teachers are following a posted sanitizing checklist in between each scheduled session with a student. Any necessary additional learning materials are provided for students to keep, so that they do not need to be shared.

Homework Studios been rearranged to optimize the space and keep work stations at a proper distance from each other. Stations are sanitized in between students.

Promoting Socialization While Physical Distancing

Socialization is a vital part of young people's lives. The campus is working to promote socialization while helping students maintain an appropriate distance. For instance, some campuses have set up individual sitting areas where students may eat lunch and lounge between classes. This allows students to enjoy interacting with each other, while clear visual cues help them keep a proper distance. These sitting areas are wiped down regularly by campus staff.

Brightmont Graduates Across the Nation

We would like to congratulate all of our Brightmont Academy Class of 2020! We have had physically distanced in-person graduations along with virtual graduations to honor our graduates. Here are some photos of our most recent graduates.

On Friday, June 19th, we held the high school commencement ceremony for our first Broomfield graduates Emma and Ewan! Our graduates received their diplomas at an outdoor ceremony and were congratulated by Campus Director Carrie Rachal and their families. Several attendees also watched the graduation on Zoom. Michael also graduated from our Castle Pines campus.

Zack Khan has graduated and is looking forward to his career in music. We wish you the best Zack!

Student Highlights

We are pleased to welcome our new students that have enrolled! Some of our students are continuing their studies during the summer while attending summer camp as well. Other students are devoting more time to personal interests such as our Deer Valley student Brycen who is working with his new ant farm! He has been showing us his farm on the google screen.

Fall Enrollment and Scheduling

Enrollment and scheduling for fall is in full swing! Scheduling and teacher requests are first-come first-served. Parents can contact the campus director about enrollment.

ACT® and SAT® Testing Dates

ACT is adding new test dates for the fall. Registration opens the last week of July. Mark your calendars!

Check the ACT website for important updates.

Weekend SAT tests will be administered every month from August to December. Public health restrictions and high demand will result in limited seating capacity for students in certain areas.

Check the SAT® website for more information.
