Brightmont Academy Provides Flexible Part-Time Enrollment Option

Mendota Heights, MN – Since 2019, right before the pandemic, there has been a 2.9% decrease in K-12 public school enrollment. One of the main contributing factors to this decline is mental health. Brightmont Academy offers a part-time enrollment option that is designed to provide students with greater flexibility and customized learning experiences.

Brightmont Academy is a nationally accredited private school that offers a flexible, customized learning alternative to traditional schools. One experienced teacher works with one student throughout every learning session. New students can enroll at any time with open enrollment throughout the school year. Brightmont Academy is open year-round and offers customized scheduling, allowing students the flexibility to balance priorities. Brightmont Academy allows the option for students to start online or at school for one hour a day until they are comfortable doing a full day of school with the goal of returning to public school. Sorenson adds, “Students may start with remote sessions and transition to on-campus sessions at any time. Many school avoiders I've worked with have successfully transitioned to another school after a semester or two of regular attendance at Brightmont Academy”.
