Private School Specializing in One-to-One Instruction for 1st-12th Grade Students

National – According to a recent survey, approximately 49% of students started the 2023 school year behind a grade level in at least one subject. Brightmont Academy offers skill building programs, which helps students catch up when they are behind in a certain subject. About 30% of the full-time students at Brightmont Academy started by taking a skill building class.

Brightmont Academy is a nationally accredited private school that offers a flexible, customized learning alternative to traditional schools. At Brightmont Academy, their skill building programs are meticulously designed to cater to individual learning styles, fostering comprehensive development and empowering students to achieve their full potential. “Skill building is a great addition for many students beyond their traditional classroom environment. Many kids find themselves behind in certain subjects whether that be math or reading. What we do at Brightmont is enable instruction to be personalized and customized to exactly what their needs are. Maybe some subjects or areas they need to go back 6 months or a year, maybe even farther. They take the classes, maybe 20 sessions with us and they really can firm up that foundation. In many cases the results are so impressive that they want to continue that and take another session or even enroll full time with us,” said Karen Buckner, CEO of Brightmont Academy.

New students can enroll at any time with open enrollment all throughout the school year. Brightmont Academy is open year-round and offers customized scheduling, allowing students the flexibility to balance priorities. This proven model effectively serves students who have learning difficulties, those who want to accelerate their studies, and those whose needs aren’t met in traditional schools. Buckner explains, “People don’t really know what one-to-one is or what a one-to-one environment would be like for their child. So, it’s a great way to try it. A low risk 20 session package enables their student(s) to have the exact experience that they would have on a full-time basis, one teacher and one student in the classroom, and get to see the benefits of that before they make a big decision on whether or not Brightmont should be their full-time school.”

Brightmont Academy is located in eight states and is currently accepting enrollments.

Brightmont Academy is an accredited private school that provides one-to-one instruction. One experienced teacher works with one student throughout every learning session. Customized full-time programs and individual courses are offered for grades 1-12. Students can also receive individualized tutoring for all 1-12 subjects, study skills, and test prep. Brightmont Academy has served thousands of students since 1999, and has 18 campuses in Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, and Washington.
