Private School Specializing in One-to-One Instruction for 1st-12th Grade Students is Filling Up

Boca Raton, FL – Brightmont Academy is proud to spotlight Debbie Cohen, who has been serving as the Campus Director of the Boca Raton campus for several months. With a distinguished 30-year career in education, Cohen brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to student success that perfectly aligns with Brightmont’s mission and values. "I have 30 years of dedicated service to education, and I have assumed many roles including classroom teacher, learning specialist, and administrator in the private school sector," said Cohen. "With undergraduate degrees in Education and Psychology, as well as a master’s degree in Reading and Learning Disabilities, I have knowledge and experience designing and coordinating individual student plans and effective interventions for students with learning differences."

Cohen’s passion for personalized education is evident in her approach at Brightmont Academy. "As Campus Director, I can help create a nurturing atmosphere where students recognize their worth and believe in their potential. I am honored to lead Boca’s campus alongside our outstanding teachers," she stated. The community has responded positively, with families appreciating Brightmont’s unique one-on-one education model that offers tailored curriculum and personalized attention. "Brightmont is a perfect fit for Boca because families in this area prioritize quality education for their children," Cohen explained. "Our one-on-one education model provides personalized attention, tailored curriculum, and a focus on individual student needs, ensuring students receive the highest quality education. We recognize that every student has unique learning styles, strengths, and areas for improvement. The personalized learning plans empower students to reach their potential level of success, academically and emotionally."

Cohen also highlighted the importance of addressing students' social and emotional needs alongside their academic progress. "Brightmont Academy emphasizes student well-being. With growing concerns about mental health, a one-on-one education model allows for more personalized attention to students' social and emotional needs in addition to academics," she emphasized.
