One-To-One Private School In South Miami, FL
Learn how personal instruction helps students thrive academically, emotionally, and socially.
Give your child an education that’s as unique as they are. As the leading private school in South Miami, FL, Brightmont’s specialized educational approach is based on over 25 years of experience helping students in grades K-12 succeed academically. We recognize and support the needs of every student, including students with learning differences, students living with anxiety and/or depression, high-aptitude students, and student-athletes or performers with demanding schedules.
Brightmont’s educational model is mastery-based, empowering students to actively engage in their studies at their own pace while feeling challenged and supported throughout the learning process.
Traditional classrooms are insufficient or even impossible for many students; rigid schedules, inadequate attention from instructors, and an overwhelming environment can impede your child’s success. Brightmont’s personalized instruction helps students progress toward their goals and gain the self-confidence necessary to fuel a lifelong love of learning.
We offer a range of programs throughout the year to serve the diverse needs of families in Miami, including full-time school, individual courses, tutoring, and skill-building programs. We also offer open enrollment and rolling admissions, so your child can start right away.
When you join the Brightmont family, we’ll work with you and your child to design the most effective, personalized instructional plan possible and select experienced teachers who understand your child’s academic needs and learning style.

Meet Aisha Walker
Director | VP of School Development
Aisha began working as an educator over 20 years ago. After her undergraduate degree, she started her career at Lindamood-Bell Learning Processes, a globally recognized organization that creates programs to address weaknesses in language processing, reading, comprehension, and math.
While earning her master's degree, she also worked at The Lionheart School in Alpharetta, Georgia. After several years in the classroom, Aisha returned to Lindamood-Bell as an executive center director, regional director, and associate director of learning centers. Having worked with students one-on-one, she used her extensive knowledge to ensure effective program implementation and to tailor consulting with parents, teachers, and professionals.
Aisha has learned that her love for teaching and coaching extends beyond the students she has taught to their entire team. This love ignites her passion for Brightmont Academy and the one-to-one learning model available to families seeking solutions for their children.
