Meet Marcia Rodes
Seattle Campus Director

At Brightmont Academy, Marcia is committed to ensuring that students achieve their maximum potential in a safe and nurturing learning environment, with one-to-one instruction tailored to their individual needs and abilities.
Marcia holds a master of arts in education and a doctorate in educational leadership. Her bachelor of arts in education was earned at Central Washington University.
A Washington State K–12 certified teacher, counselor, and principal, Marcia has extensive experience educating students in preschool through college. She began her teaching career with first- and second-graders in Lake Washington School District in Kirkland, Washington.
Marcia’s deep experience as an educator also includes curriculum consulting, student services, program evaluation, and tutoring with one-to-one instruction. Marcia’s recognitions include the Washington State Award for Excellence in Education, the Executive Educator 100 Award, and the Soroptimist International Women of Distinction Award. Marcia is an avid promoter of student recognition and success.
