Meet Marlene Kensrud

At Brightmont Academy, Marlene is dedicated to creating learning plans that address the unique needs of each student through one-to-one instruction.
With over 25 years as a teacher, high school principal, and special education director, Marlene knows what works for a broad range of K-12 students. Her educational experiences with best practices, teaching and learning strategies, and instructional models contribute to her ability to identify creative solutions for students.
Marlene earned a masters of science in special education from the University of North Dakota, holds a bachelor of science in English, and has completed extensive coursework in education administration.
