Located on the northeast corner of Shea and 70th in the Agua Caliente Plaza, Brightmont Academy offers one-to-one instruction that works to Scottsdale, Paradise Valley, Mesa, Tempe, and surrounding communities. Our unique educational approach is based on 17 years of experience helping students succeed academically. Enroll at any time of the year for full-time school, individual courses or tutoring.
We support students with a wide range of learning challenges including those with Empowerment Scholarship Accounts (ESA).

Meet Rande Hoggard
Scottsdale Campus Director
Rande Hoggard Ed.D.
Rande is passionate about helping students succeed. To maximize learning, he uses the teaching method that is most effective for each individual, and he has set up support programs that encourage students and teachers to develop their critical thinking and leadership skills. Rande recognizes students’ strengths, and he mentors them in achieving goals both in and out of the classroom.
As a principal, counselor, and teacher at the high school and college levels, Rande has been leading students and educators for more than 20 years. He received an outstanding teacher award for engaging students in the classroom and promoting an effective student-centered learning environment. Under his leadership, students from diverse backgrounds have built character and strengthened academic skills for their pathways to success.
Rande earned a doctoral degree in education leadership from Argosy University. He is certified in Arizona as a superintendent, secondary educator, and career and technical educator.
