Whether for original credit or credit recovery, students can complete a wide variety of 6th- to 12th-grade courses at Brightmont Academy. With our effective, one-to-one instruction, students experience fully personalized pacing, instructional materials, and motivators.
Brightmont partners with local schools to simplify the credit transfer process and, as needed, tailor the curriculum to match specific school and district requirements.
Writing
The Writing course is designed for special education students or those students unable to enroll in an appropriate grade-level course. Students enrolled in this class have demonstrated significant deficits on entrance assessments and the focus of this remedial class is to build basic skills. Upon completion of the course, the student should show at least one year’s growth on an exit assessment; however, the student may still demonstrate skills significantly below grade level.
