Meet Dorothy Lynn

At Brightmont Academy, all the families that Dorothy works with experience her passion for helping students succeed. She is excited to be helping students and parents at our Mission Viejo campus.

Students receive the benefit of the instructional and administrative expertise she has developed over 30 years in education. Dorothy has been a K-12 teacher working with all students, including special needs students and ESL/ELD students, a Director of Education at a private school, and an adjunct professor and supervisor of future educators. She is a long-time resident and educator in South Orange County.

Dorothy earned both a masters of arts in education administration and in English from United States International University in Irvine, and a dual bachelor’s degree in English and music from California State University at Fullerton.
