Empowerment Scholarship Account
The Arizona Department of Education’s Empowerment Scholarship Account (ESA) provides parents with education funding for qualified students with learning disabilities. Using ESA funding, students can enroll at Brightmont Academy in the full-time private school, for an individual course, or for tutoring.
The One-to-One School: Your Choice for Success
Brightmont Academy provides the learning alternative that works! Academic success and self-confidence grow as students with educational challenges realize learning gains, and feel safe and valued in a nurturing atmosphere of respect.
One Student with One Teacher—All the Time
At the center of our personalized learning approach is one-to-one instruction: one highly qualified teacher working with one student throughout every learning session. There is no “one-size-fits-all” system at Brightmont. With a belief in each student’s potential, the Brightmont professional team works with families to set goals and create a customized learning plan.
Effective for Many Learning Challenges
At Brightmont Academy we offer a new beginning for students with learning disabilities, emotional issues, health concerns or other special needs. Students with a range of learning difficulties – including autism and Asperger Syndrome – are supported by dedicated teachers who have the expertise required to encourage them and help them overcome frustration.
A Quiet, Focused Learning Environment
The Brightmont campus offers a welcoming environment and focused one-to-one attention from educators who mentor the “whole child.” Skilled teachers provide the right pace for instruction and, as needed, redirect the attention of distracted students, and avoid emotional triggers.
